What are your favorites right now?
Yarn Store: Knit with Attitude in London. It’s a fabulous yarn store with real personality. The thought and consideration behind the brands May-Linn chooses to stock is incredible!
Yarn: I love working with alpaca yarn. The drape, feel and lustre this fibre provides makes it such an inspiring material to knit with.
Why do you knit? I knit partly because it is my profession, and partly because it is my passion. I love how I can bring my knitting with me anywhere. Not a day goes by without me getting at least a row or two in!
Most challenging project (and why)? My design, Maddie Dress. It’s a leaf motif worked in the round over various needle sizes. It starts our using around 400 sts, and the maths involved in making the pattern work was really challenging. It’s always so rewarding though, once it works!
What’s your new favorite thing? My dog, Frank! He is a Spanish Water Dog and is 9 months old. He’s full of energy and keeps me busy. He’s a loyal companion and makes working from home less lonely!
